Soon after I arrived in Fort Collins, Kevin and I discovered that there are four girls living in the house behind us. They apparently all go to Colorado State. Kevin had the brilliant idea of initiating contact by sending over a toy balsa wood plane with names and numbers on it. It apparently worked because soon after, they left a picture of all four of them with names, ages, and short, silly descriptions of them on our door. Then a box of easymac was send over the fence with random facts. So...Kevin, Austin, and I made a video with cheesy pickup lines, random running, frisbee-ing, jumping, laughing, etc...
So...here it is, entitled "Backyard Boys: A New Hope" (either click on the link...and wait a really really long time for it to load, or...Right Click and Save As to download the video - Click and Hold on Mac)

These are of the Mini test driving. We received a letter from the dealership yesterday saying "feel free to come test drive again," so...we may take them up on that.
Me in the regular Cooper
Kevin in the Cooper-S Convertible
Me...curled up taking a nap in my bed...left my door open.
Well, I guess a lot has happened in the last few days. Last week we went to Denver...twice. Kevin test drove a new Subaru Outback and I test drove a Civic (again) in Boulder. We went to an excellent burger joint called The Paramount Cafe near downtown Denver and went and saw a Talladega Nights (image will be on sidebar later).
The next day we went down earlier and test drove Mini Coopers...holy shit it was so fun. I drove the Cooper-S Convertible first and it was just so fun...all of us were smiling ear to ear the entire time. Austin test drove a hardtop manual Cooper-S and we took two of them out the last time and were bunny hopping on the highway (pictures to come). Kevin pulled a muscle from smiling...because of the Coopers.
If you're wondering why I'm not any pictures now, or changing anything else, it's because I'm currently in Cheyenne, Wyoming training at my newly acquired (however most likely temporary) job. I'm now working at GameOn along with Kevin and Austin (which makes a total of 3/4 of our house working there). I'm most likely just working until the boss finds a decent person to work up here, but at least it takes some financial pressure off and I can kind of relax for a short time.
If you're wondering what GameOn is...it's a Internet Gaming Center...in other words we have around 30-40 computers in each store, running some of today's (but mostly yesterday's) games. People come in, pay for a few hours or so...and sit and play. So...I sit at a computer all day and watch people play video games, or...if it's very slow and I have company...also play video games (even though I've lost interest in playing many of them).
I head back to Fort Collins tomorrow night and then hopefully I can find some people to hang out with (since the one drawback of this job is the fact that Kevin, Austin, and I will most likely never have the same day off). I met a few people over the weekend, however I'm not sure if I left the best impression. I'll call and see what happens though.
I decided to put up a map of my driving trip. Over 2600 miles total...
I also took some pictures of my room in the house and oh...the 14 foot screen we built the day after I got here...did I fail to mention that? Yeah...our basement has a projector and 14 foot screen we built ourselves...ha!
I didn't take very many pictures during the drive across country. Of course...I didn't really make many stops. The largest one I made was in St. Louis, which is why I have an abundance of pictures from that location. Anyways...here they are.
Well, that's a short view of some of the trip. The first pic was during my hour delay in Virginia. I was on the phone with Kevin at the Gateway Arch. The last pic is of my windshield of bugs after 1800 miles...
