Bah

You know...I can be a real ass sometimes.

My departure date may be delayed by one day for dental reasons. I need to have some fillings done on a couple of my front teeth so they do not acquire holes in them in the next year. However...what with the hectic dental scheduling, it's hard to find a time to get in there before I leave. Since I am leaving the dentist has actually offered to stay later on Tuesday the 11th to do the work...however I'm asking if he could do the same on the 12th since I'm going to someone else's going away party on the 11th and would rather not have the entire front of my face numb and drooling for it.

Not sure about Superman on IMAX tomorrow...still trying to figure out other people's schedules...however people don't call me back when they say they will...so it's hard.

I'm getting kind of worried about a job in Fort Collins, I'd like something right when I get there. But I'm realizing now that it's going to be near impossible to acquire a job while here and then settle into one. I have to hope for something through these temp/placement agencies, which I will take typing tests and such through and they'll hopefully set me up with something pretty quick. They sounded pretty optimistic and hopefully I can test out on my typing speed and 10-Key.

Anyway...off to the post office.

Woa

Um...two weeks and a day left until I make my trek across the country. I'm leaving either the 12th or the 13th pending on what happens those last few days here. I just would like to get into Fort Collins before or on the Sunday or that week so I can have some job testing, hopefully some interviews before heading down to Moab for the next weekend. Still no company for the drive out...doubt there will be, more room for me I suppose.

Most things are packed up, some things are already in Colorado, other than that, most other things are really going to get packed up a day or two before the move.

Wisdom teeth are recovering, or rather...the lack thereof. Yesterday I had a bad taste in my mouth all day, which I guess will be there until I'm healed up. Today it already seems a lot better though. My jaw and gums got pretty sore later in the day yesterday, probably since I'm off the steroids, and mostly off the painkillers.

I did take a hydrocodone in preparation for sleep last night, which I'm glad I did...cause the previous night I woke up in a little pain. However the hydrocodone had me wake up at various points in the night laughing...bizarre eh? I can see how that stuff is habit forming. I am definitely glad to be off the prednisone (the steroids) which were causing pretty bad depression, frustration, anger, mood swings, and the inability to deal with any small problem. Yesterday I was a lot more calm and content, although with a few heart attack moments.

This weekend...hopefully to Raleigh to go see Superman Returns 3D at IMAX...I'm still awaiting company, but we'll see what happens. I guess July 4th is also coming up, which most likely will involve doing...not much.

To friends in Colorado: Call or Email! let me know where you are and what you are up to in late July, after I get a job settled I hope to see you all.

p.s....this is the longest post I've done in a while, kind of sad.

Awards

Well the Herman Awards are over and I came out of it with an award for Outstanding Vocal Performance by an Actor with The Quartet from Music Man and the Fran Newby award.

I had a really good time, despite being a little irritable from the drugs (which I had the last dose of today thankfully).

I wish I wasn't confused.

So...Hungry

I actually chewed on some food today...however my jaw is still awkward. I'm ready for solid food...so badly, I need mass amounts of it.

The steroid induced mood swings seem to have calmed, only two days left of those (and smaller doses every time).

It has been REALLY damn hot and humid the last two days. Completely overcast the otherday but still like 90 degrees and humid beyond compare...can't walk outside.

Ready for work to be over for the day...that's for sure. Payday, weekend, sleep...oh right Herman Awards are tomorrow...wish me luck on my nominations, we'll see what happens.

No More Wisdom

Well...yesterday morning I had four wisdom teeth removed. Which was...interesting. I'm not in pain right now, just discomfort and no swelling yet really (although the swelling is supposed to be the worst tomorrow).

Now I feel pretty good, mouth is weird feeling...but I have lots of energy cause I'm on steroids and ibprofin.

Oh...and woo! Carolina Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup!

Update

Hopefully I will be leaving Goldsboro, NC early morning on July 12th and heading into Fort Collins the evening of the 15th. I will relax a day or two, and then head down to Moab to acquire furniture and stay with my parents a few days. I don't think there really is a way for an earlier date.

Car situation is still up in the air, going to the car sale this weekend...

Move

The move is confirmed, of course...it was confirmed a while ago. However, the date is still in question...I've said July 14th or 15th...but I may push it up to the beginning of July. Basically I just want two more pay periods after this one and I'm ready to go.

Of course, it all depends on car situation...which hopefully will be solved soon. Then I can decide on a complete date...but...July 14th or 15th at the latest I hope.

I'm hurt, I'm tired, I've done all I can...I'm ready to get out of here.

I really don't want to be at work...but I've had my memorial day weekend already.

One Year? Not quite, I wish it could be.
