Bloggy Blog
I'm changing servers for the blog, and adding another domain...soon. I'll let you know later.
But...if there's any down time...this is so you know what's going on. Should be all settled within 2 weeks (hopefully in less time than that).

Now hold on a minute...
LOU DOBBS: I don't think that we should have any flag flying in this country except the flag of the United States. And let me tell you something else, since we're talking about double standards and I think you're right about people who would believe that.
But let's be clear. I don't think there should be a St. Patrick's Day. I don't care who you are. I think we ought to be celebrating what is common about this country, what we enjoy as similarities as people. And as Peter Viles was reporting, talking about the culture and the heritage of their people and that's why they want to hold up the Mexican flag or Ecuadorian flag.
I think John Stewart said it best: Awa??!?!

Family Reunion
So...if you haven't heard, I had a family reunion over the weekend. Went and stayed with my uncle, Gene, at their small place on Harkers Island and drove back and forth from there to Moorehead a lot. Went out on a small boat...for a small while. Met a bunch of family and ate a bunch of food.
The view of the trailer on Harkers Island
Random shot across to Cape Lookout Saturday Food: I ate a big breakfast: 2 large pancakes and a bunch of bacon. Big lunch: excellent grilled flounder croissant sandwich and a piece of peanut butter cake. Then at dinner I had the biggest fillet minion I've ever seen, mashed potatoes, asparagus...ate it all, and then ate part of my grandmother's fillet...then part of my grandfather's fillet, then dessert Strawberry shortcake...the scary thing is I probably could have kept going but stopped myself. Most of the people at the table were impressed (especially my grandfather) and passed it off as "the Bridgers in me."
The Fillet Minion The best thing about this family reunion was meeting one of my cousins (2nd, 3rd...somewhere in there), John Norwood. He owns an antique shop in New York City and offered his place for me to stay in if I make a trip up there, which I am definitely going to take him up on. I'm going to try to get a ticket for The Odd Couple (with Nathan Lane and Mathew Broderick) and head up there at the end of May after The Music Man. John's great and I look forward to staying with him...oh, and if you're in New York and want some antiques, check out his site: www.norwoodantiques.com/home
Got back yesterday and relaxed, formatted my computer which was long overdue...and...yeah...the end.

Prints
I would like to start offering prints of my artwork. Of course, knowing the people that actually read my blog, most of them wouldn't pay for any of it...ha...but I'd just like to see who would be interested.
The prints I would make available would be the following:
The rectangular prints will be available in 8" by 10" or 12" by 18" sheets. The square prints would be at 8" by 8" or 12" by 12".
Pricing as follows: 8" by 10" = $15 for first print, $10 for each additional + Shipping 12" by 18" = $30 for first print, $15 for each additional + Shipping 8" by 8" = $12 for first print, $8 for each additional + Shipping 12" by 12" = $25 for first print, $12 for each additional + Shipping
Matting and Framing can also be arranged however shipping costs for a frame will increase by a significant amount. I'll find out the prices for shipping soon. If you're interested at all in getting prints, leave a comment or email me.Labels: Pictures/Videos/Artwork

Sleepy...of course
Well...pretty good weekend overall. Saturday I hung out with the newly-weds most of the day, they got back from their honeymoon cruise on Friday night.
Yesterday I went to Wilmington with Gene and Debbie (another CST married couple) and saw The Pirates of Penzance which was a fun semi-opera comedy but not really more impressive than out own CST shows. Trip was fun, talked a lot about things in CST and such.
Now...back to work...

Remember, Remember, the Fifth of November
Remember, remember, the fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot.
I know of no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.
Go see this movie.Labels: Pictures/Videos/Artwork, Politics, Quotes/Useless Information

Damn You Kevin (background noise: Tally Hall - Spring and a Storm)
Well, I guess this shows a bit of what is on my computer and what I do and am semi-proud of...kind of cool little icons and a lot of them are nice.
By the way...me...tux...groomsman.

I had a good time at the wedding and reception...can't wait for another chance to sing songs like Moondance.

Comments
I may be deleting all the comments I have on Blogocide again. I'm going to try and get the Blogger default comments (which became available a while after I started my blog...a long while), I have never gotten them to work with my template for some reason, but we'll try again. So if all the comments disappear, you know why. The reason for doing this is that the Blogger comments have email notification like LiveJournal does...but the ones I'm using now...do not.
P.S. I have found out a lot of people love me, not very many of them really know me...but at least I'm putting out a "good guy" image now.
I'm getting impatient about my financial aid...I want to know now....now now now.
I'm also sleepy...very sleepy

Upcoming (background noise: Michael Buble - Moondance)
Well, it seems that very soon I'm going to be making decisions that will decide the direction that my life will take in the next 2-4 years. I should get my new award letter from SFAI in the next month or so, if I can pull it off I'll move to San Francisco and be there for art school and hopefully get my degree. If I can't work that out...then I've made the decision that I want to move to Denver (or Ft. Collins), work more, get into another theatre group and perhaps take some classes at a community college there. Now, if Colorado it is...then I will most likely move in July, unless Little Shop of Horrors is the first show that CST does next season...then it will most likely be in October (if I got the part of Seymour).
There are a couple other things that will effect my life in the coming years that I won't go ito...but I guess I'll always see it through.
Went to my second wedding on Saturday, I was a groomsman. Twas nice...Brian (played the Lion in Wizard of Oz) and Jessica, two good friends of mine, got married. I sang Moondance at the reception which is why it's on this post. I had a good time.

Olin
My name is Olin Britt, I have a script, and I'm either Tenor I (high as hell) or Tenor II (lead).
Voted on shows last night, we'll see the line up soon hopefully. Little Shop is in the four shows that made it...but I have no idea when it will be at the moment.Labels: Theatre

The Music Man
I am part of the barbershop quartet in The Music Man...I'm not really sure which part (Tenor, Lead, Baritone or Bass...I'm thinking lead...which is the most fun to sing, and probably the easiest...besides baritone), I'll find out tonight.
We're voting on shows for the upcoming seasons tonight which should be fun, then there's the first meeting for Music Man.
I haven't been doing too great lately, I'm very tired. I haven't been getting much sleep because of thoughts, but mostly because of sickness. I've been sick for over a week now, but I really hope it's on it's way out. My throat is better, but I'm coughing pretty bad and can't stop sniffling. Need to go buy some tea-tree oil for my irritated nose (from so much blowing, wiping, sneezing, etc...)
I finally got a haircut...my hair was getting pretty long again...not as long as it has been...but, still not good for an office job.
I'm off to Raleigh in an hour again to pick up my boss' wife and kids. I'm glad I'll be out of the office.
I'll most likely be very quiet in general for a while, my brain is mostly focused on other things.Labels: Life Updates, Theatre
