Trips

So...apparently I'm going to Raleigh on Wednesday, and then going to Virginia Beach on Thursday and staying overnight.

Don't get to excited...I'm basically an extended range taxi for my boss' family. I'm taking his wife to Raleigh to the airport and taking his mother to their condo in Virginia Beach so she can redo the kitchen...but hey...I don't have to sit in the office...and I get to find my way to Virginia Beach and get paid for at least 8 hours per each day...

Sleepy

Bah...sick over the weekend, nothing horrible, but just enough to make me worry. I'm feeling better, but it's still somewhat there.

I found my $15...w00t...in a pocket...

I got my federal tax refund (and state...but I need to deposit that one, the federal is directly deposited)...w00t

I get to go into work later today...w00t...I have to leave in 15 minutes though.

Music Man auditions are tonight, however I don't want to sing because my throat still hurts...don't know about that.

I've been trying to get some older music...when things were actually new...even though everyone during that time sounded like this. (actually...this song has a random Indian/Middle Eastern key change in the middle of it...sounds really good). I just love Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, all these great songs...Ray Charles has a bunch of them too (it seems that there are a bunch of version of What'd I Say...I've heard at least three, Ray Charles of course, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Bobby Darin...and they are preferred in that order).

I lost $15 :(...no really...I don't know where it is...

Car almost overheated again today...I don't know if there's something wrong with the temperature gauge too...it was kinda jumping...put more antifreeze/water in...seemed to be doing ok...but the level wasn't that low to begin with.

I wish I could say other things are going on...but...there isn't really much going on. Tax season is in full swing now...so I'm busy as can be. Auditions for Music Man are this upcoming week...I want to be in the show, but I don't want to audition, lol...I don't know.

Anyways, I'm gonna run and do...things of some sort.

I knew it! I was right! Anyway...now that I've confused you, I'm heading off to work. Wednesday? Crap...it's no longer my favorite day...

Celebrating my grandfather's birthday this weekend (it's really the 28th...but yeah). Auditions for Music Man are next week. Um...that's about it...tax season, work long...w00t...bye.

CST Site

There has been a delay in the publishing of the Center Stage Theatre website I'm designing. Amazingly...it's not my fault! :o...ha!

I'm still waiting for the current server to switch over our domain name hosting to the new server...they said they'd do it Friday (like I wanted) but still haven't done it...so...alas, all will have to wait.

I'll let everyone know once it's actually up.

Remote Access

Logmein.com is a great little service that allows remote access to your PC, it's great...and and free...unless you want special stuff, like file transfer between the local computer and the remote computer...which would be useful, but...not something I'm gonna pay for.

Birthday Bash

Well, yesterday was my birthday and it actually went a little better than I expected. Pretty boring day, but nice anyway. I came to work at 8:30am, got off at 1:30, had lunch with my aunt. Sat around, worked on my portfolio a bit (which I still need to work on a lot and get finished by Friday afternoon). I got many birthday well wishes from lots of people. My family took me out to dinner to a new-ish Thai place in town that is kinda good and came back to the house and had cake and such. Got a bit of money, a target gift card, and a while ago I got a chinese wax stamp from my parents.

Thanks for the happy birthdays, thank you to: Cathy, Chub, Lil, Sherilyn, Kevin, Janece, Jason, Staci, Mystery, Steffan, my parents, Amber, Johnny, Elizabeth, AdamChu, Melissa, Lauren, Mary Frances, Kassi, Tammie, Joel, um...I can't think of anybody that wished me a happy birthday at the moment, if I forgot you I'm sorry! Awa?

Holy crap Brokeback Mountain and Capote are playing in Goldsboro...must...go...see...but who will see with me? Ugh...kinda harder to find an audience for those two.

I am setting a release date for the reformatted Center Stage Theatre site...and this date would be...Monday, February 13, 2006 at 9:00AM EST. I am expecting a down time for the site for the preceeding Friday - Sunday (February 10th - 12th) for the server change over and uploading the mass amounts of new files. The site will also probably get a lot of updates the following weekend after the CST Monthly Meeting.

DVDs

Well, I can finally make DVDs of The Homecoming, The Sound of Music, and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. I purchased a DVD recorder with a DV connection for my camcorder. This means...well, simply...if you want a DVD of any of my performances in those shows, ask. If anyone can provide a little money for their copy, it would be much appreciated as well considering I gave in and bought that DVD recorder so I could do it.

13 days until Valentine's Day
