Birthday

You know what I really really wish I could get for my birthday but won't get in any way or form?

This:

Can dual-boot...MacOS X OR Windows XP, well..."theoretically"/eventually...I want...I want so bad...but that's SO much money...everyone put your money in a big pool and get it for me! HA!

Morning
(background noise: La Rue Ketanou - Mon Oncle)

Bah...sleepy, morning, back to work today.

Meh weekend, definitely could have been worse. Really nice Saturday for the most part, well...I guess come to think of it, it was a good weekend. Yesterday I made lemon pie...ha! Then I consumed some of it later, and I'm going to have a piece for breakfast.

Not absolutely sure when I'm supposed to be at work today, so I'm gonna go in at 9:00.

One week left.

Audition dates and such have been announced for Music Man, I can't dance...

Better
(background noise: The Who - Baba O'Riley [aka "Teenage Wasteland"])

Well, today was a bit better...not sure what's wrong with me.

It was definitely a tired day though, very boring.

It was hard to find the actual title of this song...I really like it, it's so simple to, well...in some ways.

WalMart has gone insane with remodeling, it's like going into an alien worled now.

Speaking of WalMart, went there last night (bought a bunch of Pixar movies cause they were on sale, now I'm only missing both Toy Story movies and I'll be set), but their entire computer system went down. All the tvs went static, all the checkouts were down, all the scanners were down...I'm sure they were pissed about that. Funny though, I started out with a handful of things, then a basketfull, then part of a cartfull...cause I was just waiting for the checkouts to come back online. I grabbed some things for my car though, so that's good. Finally a cup holder that works, some aluminum polish, some water/antifreeze to put in my trunk in case of emergency overheating on the highway, car charger for my phone and such.

Well...I'm tired, I'm gonna maybe play a game or something and then go to bed.

Tired

Hooray for random freak outs.

10 Days! w00t...21, I don't care.

The Producers is playing at the $1.50 theatre...yay! Must go see again...and perhaps again.

I am tremendously sleepy, TGIF.

Saturday...I think I actually don't have to do anything tomorrow, I'm going to sleep!

Back to boring monotonous work!

Anger

It's usually pretty hard to make me angry, at least...angry enough that I'll have an actual reaction. Well, that's me right now, I'm pissed off. All I wanted was for the guy who worked on my car to check out the things he worked on last time...found that a fuse had blown out, and that's why the heating/cooling system wasn't working. Ok...set, good on that. Why is the window you "fixed" not working? Well, let's check it out. Well...in the process of checking it out, the amount of working automatic windows in my car went from three...to one. The switch is fucked up for the front driver's side window, neither rear window works anymore. So if I want to go to a drive through...well...I'm fucked.

I'm just pissed off, I try not to cuss at much anymore and such, but I think this is a good fucking occasion. I don't understand how you can fuck up MORE things than you're trying to fix. Of course, if I take it to a dealership it will probably end up costing $1000 just for the trip. I guess I have way more than that available on my credit card, but I'd probably sell the car before doing that. Of course, that's looking like a better and better idea. I just really like this car, it's great...it's just you can't get parts for it easily, and everyone fucks it up in one way or another...be it slashing all four tires, spray painting it, fucking up the heating system, door locks, radiator, or now the fucking with the windows until they all break.

I'm tired of this shit. It really shouldn't be this difficult, even if it is an older car. I called and cussed out the guy that worked on it and he said he was going to send me window switches just to shut me up...but he doesn't have my fucking address...so maybe I'll call and yell at him again in another week or so, fucker deserves it.

Um...nothing really

I'm running ideas through my head for the CST site, I need to get the motivation to actually change the layout somewhat. I'm best at the type of layout that I have on Blogocide, what with the sidebar, top menu...and I most likely will incorporate most of that into the CST site, because I know what I'm doing with that. It's all simple html, so it's not going to be anything amazing. I just want it to look better than how it looks now. I'm just not looking forward to the daunting task of after finally designing and picking out a layout, I have to go through every page on the CST site and change it. Most of that will be copy and paste...you know, make a template...paste the information into a certain part of the document, and then do that over and over with different sets of information. The unfortunate part is not getting paid, but oh well...it'll be somewhat a personal accomplishment.

I'm just hoping that getting information about shows and other various bits of CST information isn't as hard as it was dealing with one of the members. I doubt it will be though, considering I'm good friends with most of the people on the Board and of course they all know me. I'm sure Teague will also be a great help if I request it (good guy, Vice President of CST right now, was the Assistant Director for Wizard of Oz, and has had a couple good roles in some CST shows like Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls).

I called the guy that worked on my car again, talked to him about how my...well...all of my heating/cooling system doesn't work, nothing comes out of the vents, and that the leaking anti-freeze problem was not fixed. I'm going to take it over to him in the morning, and hopefully leave it with him the whole day tomorrow and get it back tomorrow night (that would be me being hopeful). So now I have to acquire someone to drive with me out there and bring me back.

Well...back to work, I'm coming in later and staying later for a while now. Might mean more sleep, or at least more time in the morning. Today I came in at 9:30 and I'm staying until 6:00...that may change to 10-7...but I'd rather keep leaving time around 6pm so I don't lose most of the night and I can catch movies if required (although nothing good is playing).

Raleigh

Well...made an attempt to go to Raleigh yesterday. Left four hours later than expected. I cleaned out my car though, semi-cleaned the original floor mats that actually say "mercedes-benz" on them...so the inside looks good. Some lady put a chip in my paint with her door last night.

Anyway, back to Raleigh, about half way there I noticed my hood steaming, looked at the temperature gauge...and it was way in the red, above red...I turned at the next light, turned off my car and popped the hood. It smoked for near to 5 minutes, and made this high pitch noise, that I'm guessing was pressure from trying to squeeze any amount of water it could out of the system. It eventually stopped, and I walked around near houses asking if anyone had water...no one even came to their door. I walked across the highway and down a bit to a gas station, bought some anti-freeze and water and walked back to my car. Tempurature had finally gone down at this point, I filled up resovoir with anti-freeze and water...started my car....let it run...turned it off and then put more in, took the entire bottle.

So apparently the leak in my car is still active, after having it "fixed"...I would have understood if you know, my car had been sitting around for 3 weeks...I didn't do anything with it when I got back and it's leaked all out. However, I got an oil change last week, and they topped it off...so it lost all of it's anti-freeze over a period of around seven days, and it was only a problem yesterday...so most likely, over a period of one night. I believe it happens if the car is at an angle...but it hasn't been...so I don't know.

Anyways...after filling it up, I said screw it and kept going to Raleigh, went to Whole Foods for agar, shampoo, arrowroot powder, and snackage, and then came home. This morning I went to WalMart for other cooking supplies...and other places...I don't know if I'll be able to find unsalted, unroasted cashews anywhere in this town. I should have acquired them in bulk at Whole Foods...I wish the Health Habit was open on Sundays here in town, they might have them.

Oh! and I went to ColdStone and got...not so great ice cream, but the girl behind the counter looked at me and said I looked like Johnny Depp...she was like baffled by it...so that made my day, I haven't heard that for a while (it was mostly when I had long hair that people would say that a lot).

Birthday... 15 days

Ababababa

Well...doing a little better the last couple days...still paranoid. However, I've been getting more sleep the last two nights...around 45 minutes more a night...it's nice and I've felt better. Just wish the Daily Show came on earlier.

I've been finding out that Bellsouth DSL is a bitch, at least...their modems are fucked up. Don't really understand why, I believe they're trying to add more security though, so that's good, it just causes conflicts easily...like with the router my boss got, or with IE's cache settings (what is your preference in pronouncing that word..."cash"? or "cash-a"...the Bellsouth tech lady on the phone today said "cash-a").

I need to cut down on coffee...at least shitty coffee, I believe it has started causing physical problems for me...too bad too, I love coffee.

Well...back to doing something or other...lunch soon, glad it's Friday.

Blurgh

It's gonna be one of those days I can already tell. I slept most of the night, but my dreams were horrible. Bad night with decent ending last night, my mind and paranoia gets the best of me always. Now I'm tired, worried, depressed. Depressed isn't a word I've used to describe myself in a while (I'll have to search through previous posts to be sure...but it can't have been much since Wizard of Oz), well...cept while I was in Moab, but that was mostly because I sat in my old house for 3 weeks alone passing Christmas and New Years on my lonesome. There were good times at the beginning and end of the trip what with Janece's surprise party, many trips to the Moab Diner, and Kevin and Zack coming after New Years (I should put some pictures up of that).

I was paranoid about my car last night...lots of sounds outside, of course it was just a really windy night...so...yeah. My car has lots of little problems right now, but it's running well...so that's good. I sill need to get the rear windshield re-put in, check the window motors on the rear windows, have someone correctly install the replacement part for the climate control so air actually comes out of my vents, and...lots of other little things...oh right, the steering wheel shaking and making noise. But...it's running well and I'm enjoying it more and more since I got back.

A few facts about me:

1. I'm not a group person
2. I enjoy the company of the opposite sex more than that of males
3. I am very specific and picky in the choosing of my male friends
4. Not so much when it comes to female friends...they can often be insane
5. I often put myself in situations where a wrongful interpretation could be the death of me
6. I mean no harm
7. I like potatoes
8. I dislike hanging around males in a "party" situation unless they are my good friends ^see #3
9. I am depressing at times
10. However, I am also very good at cheering people up...at times
11. I can become very silent easily and it is hard to bring me out of that state
12. I dislike concerts unless the music immediately impresses me, or it is a band that I have wanted to see forever (Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters, The Vines, The Rolling Stones, Journey...etc...)
13. I especially dislike concerts when I am expected to move around to some sort of rhythm, I like to sit...and enjoy my music in my own way
14. I do not, this is for you Center Stage people, dance...and on the rare occasion I do, I regret it.
15. I am a master of the Guilt Trip
16. I am bound for failure
17. I love coffee (StarBucks IS coming to Goldsboro, who knows if I'll be here when it opens. My brother in law makes the best coffee...EVER...at least in my opinion).
18. People most often don't suggest life ideas, plans, or suggestions to me without an alternative motive or desire.
19. I have talented hands...or so I hear
20. Most of what I do is for the attention of others, except when I'm doing something for someone I love.
21. Money in my hands is a disaster (although I did fairly well with my small student loan and other charges these last few months, except for a few spurges like replacing my phone and buying a couple DVDs: Serenity, Wallace and Gromit...need to buy the Wallace and Gromit movie when it comes out too)...I'm getting better
22. My 21st Birthday is in...19 days (the CST monthly meeting is no longer ON my birthday...so I may actually do something for my birthday, as opposed to last year where I sat in my room alone while everyone watched the SuperBowl, and the year before that when I took other people out for Chinese, paying for them, and then sat in my dorm room all day...I'm gonna see if I can get the 7th off so I can stay up late on my birthday)
23. I am fairly computer knowledgeable though I am in no way an expert.
24. I am responsible...in my dealings with other people, not responsible for myself
25. I am definitely a reliable person when it comes to most things
26. I am on time, mostly early
27. I unfortunately get sick often during the winter
28. I enjoy museums...well...art museums anyway
29. I love going to, watching, renting, and collecting movies
30. Much of what I do at work is an act, all smiling, laughing...mostly for appearance purposes (I think that's normal)
31. I have very few "friends" in Goldsboro
32. I am easily taken advantage of
33. I rarely stand up for myself
34. I HATE it when people talk in movie theaters...although I have caught myself doing it a few times as well...hypocrite! (although I don't have conversations like a couple did recently behind me, or yell out things like "Bitch, don't go in there!" to the screen)
35. I hate cell phones...but now couldn't live without mine
36. I often hint to things that people could think less of me for (I most likely have in most of this post)
37. I am Atheist, and proud of it...although I admit there have been a couple confusing points regarding that lately, the farthest I could ever possibly go is intelligent design though...no creationism for me.
38. I judge religions, people, actions, and wars based on history...and I mean looking at an overall trend of human kind, and the repetition of mistakes over and over.
39. I hate the people in this country who approve of the Iraq war and feel sorry for the ones that don't realize why it's horrible because of lack on information and blindly following
40. I hate the people in this country who say they value 1,000 lives of our soldiers more than 30,000 Iraqi civilians (now I am not saying in anyway that I do not value the lives of our soldiers, I am concerned and wish they never were in harms way...I'm just saying that no matter who it is 1,000 cannot outweigh 30,000, 10 cannot outweigh 100, 1 cannot outweigh 2, it's a life...no one can say one is worth more than the other)

side-note...US military strike in Pakistan targets a terrorist leader, at least 14 civilians are killed in the process including women and children...US population doesn't care, they're only concerned with if we got the terrorist or not...how long do you think the US population would stand for airstrikes like that if it was american civilians being killed. Hypothetical situation, top terrorist leader killed in US airstrike inside the US, 14 US citizens killed...by our government...what is the difference between a mother and daughter walking around a street in Pakistan and a mother and daughter walking around a street in California when a bomb drops on their head.

Fat, Fatty, Fat, Faaat!!!! *pounce*

Well, I'm back at work-ish...still sick-ish...not as bad though. Now my throat is just filled with crud as opposed to completely shut and painful.

The Producers was so cool...I watched the original the night before going to see the new one and they're both so great. I just love the Leo Bloom character, both Gene Wilder and Mathew Broderick do a fantastic job at it. Of course, I just love Nathan Lane as well. I really wish I could see them both in The Odd Couple on Broadway...I'm sure that's going to be fantastic.

I actually added some content to the CST site, I haven't done anything layout wise yet...but at least it has some news on it after the cast listing for Sleepy Hollow...back in October.

Anyways...back to work.

Well...I now have the password for the Center Stage Theatre ftp server. I downloaded the entire site to my computer last night and I should be working on it fairly soon. I doubt I'll have a real layout for a little while though. Maybe I can at least add some updates for now.

Year in Review

I have finally acquired the Year in Review from Kevin for our time at Mesa State. I wanted to make it available to everyone...so...here you are (right-click, save/save target...etc). It's a fairly large file...over 300MB, so if you download it...please only do so once from me so it doesn't block up my server (although I have a pretty big bandwidth for my site, so I don't think it would be a problem anyway unless 1000 people downloaded it...which I don't think will happen). You will need Quicktime to view the vid...enjoy.

As far as news? Um...not much. I returned my audiovox phone that I bought before my Utah trip and exchanged it for a Motorola RAZR V3c (ha...they had a used one...lucky me)...I hated the audiovox software and I've been a big fan of Motorola ever since I first got a cell phone about a year and a half ago. I'm trying to figure out how to hook it up to my computer since it has the same usb connection as my PSP...yay! (mini-USB). I updated my PSP yesterday and I can now have Podcasts on there...w00t. I like it when things have the same connectors and such...it's nice to be able to use the same cables for my digital still camera, camcorder, PSP, and phone. This also means that I can charge my phone via the usb connection on my computer...w00t.

Other news...still need a server password for the CST site to start working on it.

Haven't played on my WoW character for a while really...hoping that I got a better ranking this week though from the few battlgrounds that I did before I left Moab.

Waiting for this stupid printer to install on another one of my boss' computers.

Back in NC

I'm back in Goldsboro, well...I got back Saturday night. I'm currently back at work and the transition wasn't too bad cause it's pretty slow here today and my boss left this morning for the day...so, good work day to come back to.

I'm still waiting for server information to work on the CST Website, but I really don't expect to be even contacted before next month about it. I did not receive a call back about Death of a Salesman, so I am guessing I either didn't get a part...or they forgot about me. Wasn't much hope for it though, the lead characters are all age 32 or above, and considering I look younger, not older, than I actually am...it doesn't work out. I kind of need a break anyway, so if they did want me in a smaller part, I most likely will turn it down. I've done the last five shows and I don't know if I want anymore lines in my head, despite the amount of them (I think the ones from The Homecoming are finally disappearing). Hopefully Music Man is something to look forward to.

I'm fairly tired still, so I'm looking forward to the end of the work-day. I'm gonna go by Target tonight and get a small coffee grinder and coffee maker, just something cheap (kind of defeats the purpose when you're making Kona coffee...but oh well).

I'll hopefully have pictures from Moab on my computer tonight, although I could become quite lazy and just sit around until bed-time.

Does anyone know something besides Adobe Premiere that I could convert MiniDV to DVD?

Anniversary

One thing I seem to have forgotten was that yesterday was the three year anniversary of Blogocide...happy anniversary to something that's caused trouble, art, the learning of basic html, solved boredom, and let other people know a little of what's going on in my life.

Here are a couple more "artworks"...I did the first one a while ago but had not put it up. I wanted to get permission from the person in the picture. Oh...as you can most likely tell, the candle one from a few posts ago is based from both of these.

And there we are...hopefully I can get a password for the Center Stage Theatre site at some point in the new future so I can start working on that. And now? I'm off to bed, or something like that.

Bah

Well, Kevin and Zack came down for a couple days. Lisa couldn't make it because of sickness. Had a good time...Kevin keeps asking me, well...demanding-ish...that I move to Fort Collins. It was nice to be around old friends again.

We played mario kart, drove to Grand Junction, saw King Kong again. Saw another friend, Jason, in Junction and made the classic mozzerella sticks visit to Village Inn.

We took a few pictures, I'll put some up once I get back to Goldsboro...I've also got to get the ones that Zack took.
