Owie
(background noise: The Simpsons)

I think I'm allergic to mosquito bites, or...the mosquitos here are just different the ones that I'm used to or something. There are BRIGHT red spots all over my arm. Worth it though...

ahhh...Stayin' Alive...I love the Simpsons...oh and the Bee Gees of course.

Friday!

Woo! It's Friday...long/short week...if...that makes sense.

About to leave to go be on Pac10 again, the local tv channel...w00t...not really...it's too early...bah.

We're all working on being off book for Sound of Music now...or rather, we were supposed to be on Monday. I am now...lol. Rehearsals are going well it seems...but we're still working on it a lot.

I think things I say are often misinterpreted...like there's some secret meaning to what I say, but usually it's quite simple and I mean exactly what I say.

Staci took lots of random pictures with my camera last night...since...that's how Staci is, I'm gonna sort through them tonight.

p.s. Well...back from tv station...that was short...now off to work.

Bah...again?
(background noise: Greenskeepers - Lotion)

Good day overall...pretty busy. Sang at the church this morning, did fairly well...Sherilyn couldn't come though, so that was sad...considering there were only three reasons I sang: 1. So she could come hear me sing, 2. To make my grandmother happy, 3. For...just attention.

This song is really cool...I'm a big fan of Silence of the Lambs of course, but it's also just good.

Went to see Stagestruck's production of Grease...barely, they were sold out again but Deanne gave me and Staci tickets. It was...ok, what you would expect with a "kid's show."

Went to dinner with Brian and Jessica, celebrating Jessica's birthday and went bowling with them afterwards along with...Jessica's parents, sister, friend, Sherilyn, and Staci. Enjoyed myself...

Back to work and rehearsal tomorrow, supposed to be off book tomorrow but...yeah...I think I know my lines for the most part, I just don't know my cues, but I'll get it after like 2 days.

And...I really need to go to bed...off I go.

I am the luckiest guy in the world...w00t...well...in one way.

...speachless
(background noise: Filter - Skinny)

Just...Wow...that's...about all.

Anyways...

This weekend actually has things going on for me. Last night I wanted to go see Stagestruck's (another theatre group in town, for kids through high school) production of Grease. However, tickets sold out like five people in front of me...bah. I left my phone on silent afterwards (in preparation for seeing the show), and like...5 people called me.

I may try to go see it tonight, Staci said her mom had some tickets that she's not gonna use now, so I may be able to buy them from her. Tomorrow I sing at St. Paul's in the morning, and then I'm going to a birthday...thing for a friend.

Well...of I go into the day.

Work...

I guess the one bad thing about having my boss out of town and having nothing to do to is...that I have nothing to do. I sit here and wait for the phone to ring.

My mind is running at a million miles an hour, and I have very little to distract it with.

Might leave work like a half hour early to go see March of the Penguins, simply to sit in the theater and make fun of it...that's the only way that movie is going to be entertaining, of course it will probably be pretty damn cute though. Speaking of movies, I watched Unleashed (or the idiotic US titled Danny the Dog) the other week finally, it was surprisingly good...and yet another movie with Morgan Freeman in it.

Look what Sherilyn got me:

Isn't she the greatest.

Been...almost two weeks for the goatee thingy. Considering shaving it, let me know what you think.

Bamboo
(background noise: Filter - Take a Picture)

Boss is leaving at 10:30am tomorrow for Vegas...doesn't get back until Monday...YES!

This does mean that I have to come in early tomorrow and do about 50 things before he leaves though.

I received a package from my mother today...containing pictures, yearbooks, and Bamboo (see below). I went through all the pictures...grabbing some from Bye Bye Birdie and me with red hair that I want Sherilyn to see...anyways...I found a picture of Bethany Kraycik, one of my very best friends my freshmen year in high school. She was...2 years older than me and just the sweetest girl (I consider her sister Emily, who was my age, to be my first real crush, and probably the reason why I love the name Emily...). Bethany was like a guardian angel for me that year, but I never kept in touch with her after they moved to Pennsylvania. This senior picture of her, has her email address on it...I sent an email, thought my hopes aren't exactly high to get a response since it's been...6 years since she wrote it down, but I'm trying anyway. Ah...nostalgia.

Here is a picture of me...with Bamboo, my first Panda...started my panda obsession. My most common trivia fact for pandas is that they have black skin under the black fur...and pink skin under the white fur...I think that's so cool.

Huh?

...15 minutes left of the lunch break.

Um...boring weekend, sat around most of the time.

Throat still bugging me a bit, but the sickness is just about gone.

I am utterly confused for the college thing again. I'm going to fill out my application to UNC by the end of this month...however I won't know the results to that until January. The soonest I could get back in school would be NEXT fall. I think I'll make a post to explain all my confusion tonight since I don't have much time right now.

Tired day...boss almost turned it into a bad day, but luckily it turned out ok...lol.

Back to rehearsal tonight, have to go over the song that I'm singing at St. Paul's Church next weekend...hopefully my voice is ok, it's just kind of out right now...no throat pain anymore...it just would probably be easy for my voice to crack right now.

I think after this show it's time to get my tonsils out, I don't want to deal with how I felt last winter.

Goat Update
(background noise: Kenji Kawai - Kugutsuuta Ura Mite Chiru [Ghost in the Shell - Innocence].mp3)
Just finished formatting my computer...I've needed to for the last...3 months and finally got around to it.

Just over a week now and this is the progress on the goat: one, two, three.

Sherilyn's back in town w00t.

Um...been semi-sick all week, finally recovering today...and now time to sleep.

p.s. Thanks for the call Lisa :)

Goatee...thing
(background noise: Depeche Mode - Stripped)

So I have begun to grow a goatee...thing. Let me know if you think I should keep going with it...or shave off it now before it just gets worse (see attached). Course...it will be shaved if I hear complaints from either my boss or Sherilyn...but...please leave a comment or two on yours thoughts of keeping/ditching it.

I will probably shave the "mustache" part of it soon however (cause well...I've got the whole Mexican mustache thing going on), leaving the chin untouched for now.

And...pictures, let's see: Simple picture of me, Next...little better shot for your judgment on the goatee, and last but not least...some weird...Bruce Campbell look or something.

Updates...not many

Well...let's see, back at work. Boss is out of town...again, and I have little to do. Probably get most things finished before lunchtime.

Went to Raleigh on Saturday to shop for clothes during the "tax-free weekend" got a few things, but also spent more than I was expecting to. Bought the first pair of converse I've had probably since I was five.

Catey's back in town! (for those of you wondering, my favoritest cousin). I knew she was coming back for a while, but I had no idea when. Oddly though, I had a dream that she came back, and the next day she showed up at the door with her parents.

Sherilyn's out of town :( She went to a camp...thingy in New York. She left Friday night and will be back sometime this weekend. Miss her...lots.

Made weird little observations while driving around the other night going to get coffee. I was behind a van with one of those I *heart* Jesus bumper stickers, apparently they love Jesus and all, however...the heart had faded away. So it was simply I Jesus. The first thing that sprung to mind was I, Robot...and odd parodies ran through my head. The other thing was while I was in the bookstore getting coffee. I was looking through the sale books, and came across the "Inspirational" sign, you know...mostly where the Bibles belong along with some other books. However, right below the Inspirational sign was "Advanced Plumbing"...dunno, I found that funny.

I have received the honor of being a figurehead while Deanne is out of town this week. Mostly just to have someone else in the house so the kids are a little more hesitant about doing anything too nuts. Course, this means the next week will probably be spent mostly hanging out with Staci.

Happy late birthdays (I just didn't post on my blog during your birthdays) to Sean and Laura...yes I remember Laura's after four years. I remember my friend Zoey's from second grade (July 17th)...makes me wonder why I had such a hard time remembering Kassi's (September 22, also Staci's birthday)...I kept thinking it was the 19th...there's gotta be someone I know with a September 19th birthday.

Well, back to work...

Bah?

...thanks to Ross, via myspace

History Lesson:

Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.

Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.

Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.

Now it gets really weird.

Lincoln's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.

Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.

Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.

Now hang on to your seat.

Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'

Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theatre.

Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.

And here's the kicker...

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

Don't know if this is all truthful...but it is strange.

Uh...
(background noise: Oasis - Wonderwall)

Uh...quick update I suppose. I had my first trip onto the air force base yesterday. Spent...most of the day there, watched Sherilyn and a bunch of my munchkin buddies in The Jungle Book. Adorable show...a bit boring though. I miss being around all the munchkins...

Back to work tomorrow, also back to rehearsal. Not dreading it too much, wish I didn't have to go to work of course...but...that's the way it works.

Applications for UNC Chapel Hill and for Appalachian for the Fall of 2006 come out sometime...this month (since I guess it's August now). I'll apply...see what happens, deferring SFAI until Fall 2006 and if I can afford it then...I'll go. The possibility of state grants could help out a lot.

Bla Bla...Yada Yada...etc.

The end...for now.
