...Um...Yeah
(background noise: Vertical Horizon - Everything You Want)

Well, I saw Episode III for the second time last night, lol...I only went cause Sherilyn wanted to see it and I wanted to see her...so I guess that works out eh?

I have no idea when I'll get a page for Wizard of Oz up now...but we'll see. I also want to get a museum page up for Philadelphia, because I have a lot of great pictures.

At my aunt's house still, the dogs seem to have a habit of waking me up way before I want to get up. Yesterday not so bad...but this morning at 7am, and considering I was up until about 2am...that's not a good time to wake up. Bailey (the little dog) kept all the sudden running to the door and barking...but no one was out there. Then he'd come back and sleep for a while and do it again.

hmm...this song reminds me of Laura

San Francisco is out of the picture, looking at other options. Depends on jobs, I'll call SFAI and defer my enrollment, so maybe I can have that as an option later.

Back

Well, I'm back in Goldsboro. Had a good time in Philadelphia and I have a bunch of pictures from the museum. However, I didn't get to see the Dali exhibit because the museum was pulling some stupid scam about how it was "sold out" but if you purchased a $55 museum membership, they would let you in (When Steffan and I went...there barely was anybody at the museum...let alone going to the exhibit...so that was bullshit).

I have a few errands to run today since I just got back, go to the bank, go to target, go to the Health Habit...I probably should have gone to Whole Foods while in Raleigh, but I was ready to get back. I have a few other things to attend to tonight as well...but hopefully I can make a longer post later today. I'm currently at my aunt Cathy's house, taking care of their two dogs while they are in Hawaii. House all to myself...kind of nice, but also pretty lonely.

More UMD Releases

Well...add Universal, Image, and Eagle Rock to the list of studios releasing movies/music on the UMD Disc.

The Rundown, Van Helsing, Dawn of the Dead: Unrated Director's Cut, and The Chronicles of Riddick: Unrated Director's Cut being amongst the newly announced movie releases.

Also, with Eagle Rock now on the bandwagon, the first music UMDs will be released such as "Marilyn Manson: Guns, God and Government and "Classic Album" titles Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland, Iron Maiden: Number of the Beast, Metallica: Metallica, Nirvana: Nevermind and Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon"

mmmm...Electric Ladyland and Nevermind...

Once again...the PlayStation 3 is looking better and better. It looks so yummy...

p.s. The first downloadable content for WipEout Pure for PSP will be available tomorrow.

Oh...my...God
(background noise: Fear Factory - Cars)

Some of the official specs for the Playstation 3 are out. My god...the Xbox-360 has nothing on this thing. It will use the Blu-Ray disc (6 times the capacity as DVD) and it will be completely backwards compatible to the Playstation 1.

Dual HD output...you could span the display across two HDTVs

Rumours of the PSP being used as a mobile screen and as a remote for the system adds even more yumminess.

Just read the entire article here.

Wow sony...just wow.

The age of regular DVD players and Game consoles is over...the fight now starts for the ultimate everything machine: gaming, movies, music, photos, internet browsing...everything...

Music
(background noise: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Theme)

I officially have a music directory at Blogocide.com, I will now have my "backround noise" available to download for every new post. Also, all the songs from older posts will soon be available at http://www.blogocide.com/music there are already a few songs in there that I decided to upload today.

Of course...You will need a password to access these songs, since I don't want just anyone downloading a bunch of music from my site...that would be bad. So get in touch with me if you want a password.

Phonage
(background noise: Hoobastank - Crawling in the Dark)

You know...when people say they'll call you, I expect them to do so. Especially when if involves food...you know, so you can make other plans for EATING. Two or three people were supposed to call me today...got nothing. I can understand if you just...don't want to call, but forgetting or getting distracted and not calling just makes me mad.

So...some news about the blog, I am going to start having songs to download. Soon, my "background noise" will be a link to the actual song. However, this will be password protected and I'll only release passwords to a select few, so if you want to listen to what I'm listening to...please leave a comment, send me an email, message me or call to get a password set up.

NewEgg how I love you so!

They sent me an auto-notify email saying that a 1GB memory stick pro duo was in stock...I clicked and in about 3 minutes I had my order. Hopefully it's not secretly out of stock...I guess we'll find out tomorrow. This would mean I would have one for the trip to Philly...eee! Music and video and music video!

Update They're out of stock now...less than two hours after I got the notification that they were in stock.

UMD

The UMD format is catching on even more than I originally thought it would. More companies are signing up to produce movies and games on it. 20th Century Fox just announced that it will be releasing I-Robot, Napoleon Dynamite, Dodgeball, Super Troopers and Predator on the format in July. Super Troopers would be a very good road trip movie...

Movies from other providers coming out soon include Saw, Van Wilder, Terminator 2, and The Punisher. Eeee!

Of course...the UMD format has also now been cracked and ISO images of some games are showing up online. For pyraters this means YAY...but it also means that Sony will be even more hesitant about releasing a UMD writer. However, it seems people are trying to run these ISOs from the memory stick and have been successful with a few games on the non-updated Japanese PSPs (in other words Sony has already fixed that backdoor in their updates).

My PSP is still going strong, my updated review only has one con: The battery and memory stick latches/doors are way to easy to just...pop off. The memory stick door often opens simply because my hand is in a certain position to control a game. Other than that...YAY! However, I probably won't be able to get a larger memory stick pro duo for around 3 or 4 months. They are sold out everywhere, and the one I ordered has been delayed 4 times already, so I just decided to cancel my order and wait until this rush is over...this does mean a lack of music listening on my PSP though :(

The PSP definately had strong release titles, but it seems we won't see many more excellent games for a while. I'm sure a few good ones will be showcased at E3 this month. Probably my next game with be in September which would be Burnout: Legends.

Birthday Thingy

Thanks Kristina

Your Birthdate: February 6

A birthday on the 6th of the month adds a tone of responsibility, helpfulness, and understanding to your natural inclinations.

Those born on the sixth are more apt to be open and honest with everyone, and more caring about family and friends, too.

This is a number associated with responsibility and caring - this birthday lends a degree of concern for others.

I have been nominated for Herman Awards (the Center Stage Theatre "oscars") for Outstanding Performance by a Leading Actor for The Homecoming, Outstanding Performance by a Supporting Actor for The Wizard of Oz, and Outstanding Vocal Performance by an Actor for The Wizard of Oz. Woo...can't wait until the award ceremony in late June.

Previous Posting

I have gone through every single post I have made and changed code, there are a couple posts that I still need to recover images for once I get home (mostly the pictures from when I first got to Goldsboro). I found a few spelling and grammar errors in previous posts, I think the most common was confusing "to" with "too"...or more likely just forgetting to press that "O" key one more time. I believe at the end of this move from two servers and scares from losing files I have only lost on image on the post I made when I got my first (and thankfully, so far only) computer virus. This was the small comic I made in Paint in about 30 seconds, consisting of the computer screen showing "Virus Found" and me coming back to the computer with a hatchet and a bucket...a phrase cleverly derived from Sean. Makes me sad that I lost this image.

So, in homage to that original image, please accept these two in replacement.

Looking through the posts I got to read what I had gone through last year, and little quirks that I forgot. I'm sincerely glad I started this blog and it has made me think and remember more clearly, not to mention...got me into graphic design and web design.

Steffan informed me on his LiveJournal that the Salvidor Dali exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art has been extended until May 30th. That means I get to see it! Which is excellent, I was sad when I originally found out it was going to be over about a week before my trip up there.

Mini-Poll

In response to my suggestion of stabbing George Lucas:
77-78% said to stab George Lucas in the face and/or other places
11% said no...we shouldn't stab him
and 11% were utterly confused by the issue

So...there is a new mini-poll up, a fairly predictable one for me to put up...but it's there and please take part in it.

Personal News:
Tired :(
Miss Sherilyn :(
Miss all the Munchkins :(
Probably getting different car, definately not new...but hey, it'll be new to me :)
Looking forward to Philadelphia, but have to decide if I'm going to stay for a couple days more and fly back instead of driving back with my grandparents :)
Have to work tomorrow :(
Wanted to go to the beach this weekend, but it's raining :(
Blogocide.com basically finished except for alterations to other pages :)

WalMart Idiots

Wow the people at WalMart are stupid. Teague (the assistant director for The Wizard of Oz) took around 200 pictures of performances, backstage, and publicity shots. He has uploaded all these to a WalMart PhotoCenter Album. I'd like to order a cd (or 2, or 3...or whatever) of these pictures so I can have them on my computer (instead of going to every image in the album, clicking on it, clicking on download and getting it...that would get a little boring after 217 clicks eh?

But...apparently to get cd I have to order prints of the pictures as well, there may be a way to simply order a cd...so I called the WalMart Photo Center and asked them, but they have no idea. Idiots....gah. Oh well...I'll try more once I get home cause the browser crashes when I try to add all 217 pictures to the cart here. Hopefully that doesn't happen at home as well. Then maybe I can figure out how to simply order a cd.

Blogocide.com
(background noise: Green Day - Extraordinary Girl)

Well Blogocide.com is now up and running strong, I'm having some troubles with my archives, but I have a way of fixing that later. Hope you enjoy the new look and address. :)

Soon I will redesign the artwork pages, the moal site, and create a site for the pictures from The Wizard of Oz and The Man Who Came to Dinner, but just bear with me, it's coming.

Ticketmeister

Did you know ticketmaster.com limits the amount of page views you can have? I found that out this morning looking for tickets to Beauty and the Beast for my boss and the continuing to try and find what else is going on in Raleigh, elsewhere in North Carolina, and even in Denver in July (Found some OK venues including The Wallflowers at The House of Blues in Myrtle Beach). Then once I wanted to change my location to Denver it told me I had reached my amount of page views...kind of depressing, I'm sure that's a necessity for them though.

Don't forget...blogocide.com this evening.

FYI

Well, Oz is over. This week is going to be pretty sad, realizing that I'm not going to see all the people I've gotten used to being around for the past 2 and a half months. I have lots of pictures from rehearsal and from the performances and I'm in the process now of making a page for those (and other pictures I have taken while part of CST). The performances went extremely well and they were all so much fun. The show was recorded on Saturday and hopefully I'll be getting a copy on DVD soon. Of course...Saturday was probably my worst performance, but it was still ok.

blogocide.com is almost finished, I'm tweaking a few last things and I am going to change over the hosting on Wednesday night, whether I'm ready or not. So please, update your bookmarks and links, and remember to start going to http://www.blogocide.com as of Thursday morning. I'm going to try to keep blogocide.blogspot.com for a while to forward people over, but I'm not sure what the deal with that will be once I change the hosting. Only one way to find out eh?

I miss many people from Oz already, especially Sherilyn. Hopefully I can get together with some of the people. I guess now I have to put my energies into getting things straightened out for the Art Institute and really find out if I can go, cause I plan on it.
