File Sharing News (background noise: Billy Idol - Scream)
I have some news for all you pyrates out there. I recently came across a new program in my searchings called P2Mail. Those of you that are familiar with P2P (Peer to Peer) networks, you can only guess what this means. P2Mail (Peer to eMail) is an idea that takes advantage of the newly available eMail services offering 1GB of space (gmail, walla, etc.). The program takes a file you designate and separates it into segments small enough to be added as an attachment (usually around 10MB, sometimes less). After it has segmented the file, you can then download the segments and the program will recombine them into the original file. This may be an opportunity to take advantage of those 50 gmail invites we just received.
This program has many benefits:
1. An easy way for friends to share large files 2. No need to upload data to others 3. Very fast downloading, the only limit is your bandwidth instead of another user’s upload limit
However, it also has its faults:
1. No search option 2. Not many sites/forums are yet available for files (especially in English) 3. Heavy usage of email accounts can cause problems accessing the account
I experimented with this program over the weekend and am intrigued. I hope to see more sites pop up with files in the future. Go check out P2Mail, I have links to the program site and a few download sites/forums that I have come across (if you find anymore good ones, let me know). I highly suggest this program and hope to use it for transferring files with my friends soon.
In other File Sharing news, ShareLive.com is back as a free download station. This site has files available for almost every filesharing program: ED2K (emule), bittorrent, P2Mail, gnuttella, plus Piolet that I have not had the opportunity to fool around with. You do have to register for an account, but I have received no spam from this site and have not had to pay anything.
Happy Pyrating
(Please only use these program and sites if you are tremendously computer literate and are familiar with filesharing in general, don’t come running to me if you screw up something…)

Play Time
The Man Who Came to Dinner went better than I expected. Most people had a good performance every night and our Friday night was really good.
Tara came for the weekend, we had a good time. Picked her up Friday, she came to the play Friday and Saturday night. After our Sunday performance we went down to Moorehead City and stayed with some of my family. Saw an old civil war fort (Fort Macon) and walked around on the beach. We came back Monday and I went to auditions for Oz. Took her back to the airport yesterday, and once again went to auditions for Oz.
Speaking of Oz...as you probably guessed, we've been having auditions, lol. I have done the singing, reading, and dancing auditions...and I did well in each. Especially singing and reading, my range is a little smaller (as far as low notes go) than it has been...but once we started doing my higher range I just kept going up...and up...and up. The other guys in the room hung their heads down after I sang, lol. They are starting to do some call backs tonight, they called me this morning to come in at 7:30. They originally weren't going to do any call backs until tomorrow night, so I don't know if that's a good or bad thing that they want me back now. I mean, it's good they want me back at all, hehe.
Well, I've gotta head back to work. As soon as I know what happens with The Wizard of Oz, I will post again. Scarecrow...I hope I hope...

Happy Valentine's
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Especially to a few of my sweethearts out there.
I didn't even notice it was today until I saw red hearts around the office. Apparently the other people in the office got Valentine's from their "significant other."
This is production week of the play, it's being thrown together, and in a lot of ways I don't expect it to be that good. The set isn't impressive, the wardrobe and props are being gathered at the last minute, and some things that deal with our "twist" aren't even being tested. The only thing that is going to save this show is Sheridon Whiteside, the character is out there, the actor has great stage presence, and hopefully people will be paying attention to him more than the faults I've mentioned.
I've had kind of a head cold for the past few days. Minor headaches, stuffed up. Did a two day nyquil deal (it takes two days to get that stuff out of my system). Nyquil hangover...woo...it seems to have worked though, I'm not nearly as stuffed up today.
Tara gets here Friday, I have Friday, Monday, and Tuesday off of work so I actually have time with her.
The Man Who Came to Dinner starts Thursday, runs through Sunday.
Auditions for The Wizard of Oz are next Monday and Tuesday.
Next season we are doing a "World Premier" of a play, I'm not sure what it's called. I have to read it. Apparently I REALLY need to read it because people are seeing me in the lead. The advantage to doing a world premier is that we wouldn't have to pay royalties, so it is a cheaper show to do. Plus, you have the phrase "World Premier" to use over...and over...and over. I'm going to get a copy of the script from someone so I can take a look, there is a little bit of bickering going on with this play because many people don't want to do it, but others see it as a way to expand Center Stage Theater's publicity. The lead has a love scene as well, lol...so I may want to look into it a bit more.
I'm sure over the next 6 days, I am going to hear the phrase "break a leg" countless times, even if my part does not require any acting persay. I guess I do have one good laugh line, I am going to have to milk it all I can.
p.s. To whom it may concern (which...is not many people who read my blog): Do not order the Quickbooks Ultimate Support Plan, the wait time is horrible.

Random
It's strange what you can find sometimes.
I was going to go to gmail as I usually do to check my email. Of course, sometimes my mind goes faster than my fingers, or vise-versa. Now..what I mean is I went to gamil by accident.
I immediately became interested in this site, seeing as it deals with graphic design. One of their clients is G.E., not bad eh? Now then, I started looking around, and decided it would be interesting to contact them. Here's the thing, check out where they are located.
Amazing what you can find with a little typo.

Happy Birthday to Me
Happy birthday to me. I'm not longer a teenager. :(
Pretty boring birthday...
Kassi sent me an E-Card...which is actually one thing that I wanted on my birthday, just to get some sort of hello and happy birthday from her, just so I know she's still there, and (probably unfortunately for her sake) is thinking about me on my birthday.
Well...I'm gonna wander out of my room and grab a snack.

Finally (background noise: Ray Charles - Blues and Jazz)
I have finally updated pages on my blog!
I have revamped my movie ratings pages and they are now alphabetical, one page for each letter of the alphabet. So this will cut down severely on the load time for anyone using dial-up.
I have put a few new ratings on there, so go check it out.
I'm going to work on a few other things on the main page this weekend I hope. Of course, usually when I say I'll do something to my blog something else comes up. Hey...maybe it would be a good thing to say it, so something comes up this weekend.
Please let me know if you find any dead links in there...I think I have them all correct, but you never know.
Let's see if I can enjoy my last day as a teenager tomorrow.

I was looking around the trailers of upcoming movies and came across some really good ones. I suggest checking out some, if not all of these. Constantine is the one that comes out first I think...which looks really cool
Enjoy :)

Coffee Bites (background noise: Rain)
Coffee in the morning, coffee in the evening, coffee at suppertime. When coffee's on a bagel, you can eat coffee anytime!
I have no idea why I'm posting that, it just ran through my mind. I AM drinking coffee though...no bagel :(
A few people in Center Stage have now talked to me about my sister, which is great. I was beginning to think that no one had been there long enough to remember her. I also got to hear a story about Steffan and deviled-eggs.
Only one more week of regular rehearsals, then production week, then the week of the performance for The Man Who Came to Dinner. People are saluting me for being off book, I have no idea...I don't have a tenth of the lines I had in The Homecoming, so it's not exactly hard.
Still no plans for my birthday, I may try to hang out with a few girls I just met last weekend, or try to meet another one I talk to every now and then. Hopefully I do something cause I'd really rather not sit around on my computer for my birthday.
I need to ask Sherif if I can come in at 10 on Monday...simply because Sunday is my birthday...although I have a feeling if I do anything it will be on Saturday night. I also have to get the 18th, 21st, and 22nd off so I can actually SEE Tara while she's here...considering if I was working, she would only see me like Saturday until 6. It's going to be a busy week, the play starts Thursday night and runs through Saturday, with an afternoon performance on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are auditions for Wizard of Oz. Tara gets here that Friday, so I have to go pick her up that afternoon, and hopefully we'll have time to do something before I have to go do make-up and such for that evening of the play.
I'm sending off my application for SFAI either tomorrow or on Monday. Portfolio looks good, recommendation letters sent, transcripts sent. You know, I really would love going there, San Francisco is an amazing place. It would kind of make my stay here in North Carolina pointless, but...I really don't think so. I've worked hard, and got some more theater experience. Not to mention created a very good image of myself among the community here. The woman that does the interviews with Center Stage Theater for the News Argus (our local paper) said that my performance in The Homecoming inspired her to write again, imagine that.
I do wish I could have had a larger part in this production, but I'm not angry about it in anyway. I'm just too young for the larger parts. I really hope I don't start to get typecast though. In Bye Bye Birdie I was a nervous little music producer, which worked out with my intense stage-fright at that time. With the newer plays nothing seems to far from my own aspirations. In The Homecoming I was a amateur writer who wanted to travel the world. In The Man Who Came to Dinner, although it's a small part, I am a ameteur photographer...who wants to travel the world, lol. The only way I am going to be able to learn how to do other parts is to have practice with them, which is why I am really hoping for a big part in Oz, because it would be so different from anything I've done so far and I could experiment a bit. I do not have Little Shop to look forward to now though, so it's kind of disappointing not to be able to try and knock some socks off with those songs. One thing I'm nervous about with the auditions for Oz is dancing, there is actually a dance part to the audition, I know I can probably do anything they want me to...but I wouldn't know where to start if I had to think of something on my own without somesort of basis, I'll ask more questions about that when I'm around people who I know are already involved with Oz.
