TV
I just got back from the local TV station, Pac 10. They "interviewed" me and the woman who plays my mother in the play. The director mostly spoke and tried to keep the interviewer ON topic, so I didn't get to say much, but it was nice.
We're heading into the last days before opening night. Excited, nervous...not really nervous. Happy, I'm so glad I got back involved with theater.

Sleepy (background music: Death Cab for Cutie)
Just got back from Cat's Cradle near/in Chapel Hill. Saw Death Cab for Cutie, my cousin John introduced me to the band and got me one of their "we've got the facts and we're voting" t-shirts. It was a good concert, had a good time...although would have been nice to have a friend there besides cousins.
The fact that I have only hung out with family for the last three months is starting to get to me, but I think I'll make some, if not a lot of friends soon. I'll be known for one thing with the play going on. I'm trying to get word out.
I'll be on the radio in Goldsboro early Thursday morning about the play and we should be taking pictures for the paper this week sometime. I only have 4 more days of real rehearsal.
New mini-poll is up...simple...but it's there.
Don't forget to VOTE VOTE VOTE and get that bastard out of the white house.

Vizierial chaos round 1 (background music: "Blue Lotus" by Essence of Nature)
I bought a bottle of peppermint extract, but I'm not very good at pouring only one or two drops. All my food and beverage over the last two days has tasted like a mouthful of altoids. Peppermint makes all food better, but it should come in a syringe.
That notion is really what separates the concept of 'peppermint' from the concept of 'love'. Love should never come in a syringe. It should never be checked or restricted. But otherwise, peppermint and love are the same. Love makes all food better. Too much love is just as intense as a peppermint overdose, and sometimes it stings, but it's worth it. A few random truths:
- In a perfect world, all human interaction is governed by the statement, "Be excellent to eachother, and party on, dudes."
- You will never really know what your cat is thinking.
- Rainbows are prettier than fire, but fire has a better personality.
- Like it or not, pink is the strongest of all colors.
- Understanding something is nowhere near as powerful as embodying that thing. For example, someone who understands love does not compare to someone who embodies love.
Okay, enough randomness for now. Thank you, Vincent, for keeping blog, and inviting me into it, and being an awesome bloke in general. I'll try to keep things at least somewhat rational; the eye of the brainstorm so to speak. And everyone else, thanks for tuning in! Take care, and remember that the world is what we define it to be, so make it good!

Fortune (background music: Unwritten Law - Actress, Model, ...)
Usual Chinese food, usual fortune cookie. However, is it a bad sign when your fortune reads: "There is a true and sincere friendship between you both. :)"...and you happen to be alone?

Allo
Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, I've been busy to say the least. I'm at work at the moment, moved my boss' laptop into his office with the dock and set up all this things in there...meanwhile moved the desktop that was in there into one of the offices. Everything seems to be working perfectly...so that's good. Found out somebody plugged a phone line into an ethernet surge protector though...things like that piss me off.
The play is going very well...we're working "off book" now. Which most people have down, cept for the kids, but that's probably because they're distracting each other most of the time. There's one scene I don't know very well, and two lines that I can never remember (but that's only because I haven't worked on those two specifically) so I'll have it down pat by Monday I bet. I'm going to be on the local radio next Thursday morning, they're interviewing me for the play, and the woman who plays my mother. There should be pictures taken for the paper soon, so we might actually want to get a wardrobe at some point in the near future. We have no set, we rarely get to work on the stage during rehearsal (they chose this time to paint the place). We have exactly three weeks before opening night...so I think we need to start refining and of course building the entire set.
Drove Sherif to Raleigh yesterday so he could get his car and go to the aiport. I'm not sure if I'm getting enough sleep or not...but the weekend is coming up so I'm not TOO worried about it. Sunday Catey and I are going up to Chapel Hill to go see John and Death Cab for Cutie, cause after that, the next time we'll be able to see him is either in November or after he gets back from the tour in Europe.
Need to replace the chipset fan on my computer...makes really annoying sound. Oh well, it's only like $7 and it will look nicer anyway.
My grandfather has a BMW Z3 in the garage he bought, fixed up, and is now trying to sell...it's simply temptation for me. I drive it two blocks every now and then to move it from the house to a parking lot so it can be seen.
I'll try to update more, let everyone know what's going on with the play.

Oooh...Tired
Woke up and took a shower, soon...off to class, then work, then play rehearsal. Tomorrow I leave early early in the morning for Philadelphia to see my sister, I believe we are going up to New York on Saturday where we will go to the Metropolitan Museum. Considering I've never been to Philadelphia or New York...it'll be a trip of exploration. This will also be the first time I've been around my sister without my parents...um...ever, unless you count the various babysitting when I was ages 5-9.
I am wishfully inviting many people to come visit me here, we have plenty of room...lol. Looks like the three best possibilities for seeing my friends are Becky coming out after Christmas, Lisa coming out in the summer on her road trip across the country, or Adam next summer (along with a trip to see his sister, and my sister...since his lives in New Jersey), though I haven't really heard any news from Adam about that.
I used to think that days with class were my long days, but now...they're my short days, cause it's a change of subject all day: history, sing, work, act...and hopefully my voice doesn't go out at some point during the day (it usually does).
But yeah...I'm off to the college now, so if anyone wants to have plans of coming to North Carolina sometime...let me know.
p.s. dumb girl in Western Civ. ended up not being so dumb, she has good ideas and can back them up, however she does have ADD, smokes, and lives with her boyfriend, the ADD was probably why I thought she was stupid in class. The "smart" girl tried to invite me to a non-denominational church, a "church for people who don't like church" deal. I told her the problem with me going to church isn't that I don't like it, it's that I'm an Atheist, so it just kind of doesn't work, she started to say something about writing that proved religion, but she was cut off by the teacher, thank God (woops). She also seemed to get angry with the fact that I'm voting for John Kerry, oh...and she's 16, which is never a good thing.
p.p.s. Best search today that resulted in my blog: "George W. Bush SAT score"
