Job
Sorry Steffan the post on transvestite sex will have to wait until next time, cause I'm going to shortly explain my job.
I went to the interview today at Billie's restaurant and caterer...went well...went easy. Got the call about an hour ago that they are offering me the job and I am starting this Friday. They wanted me to start tomorrow, however I have a LOT of things to do still (wheel alignment, drivers license, background check for taking college classes on the airbase, etc...). I have a similiar job to the one I had at Buck's, but with a little more responsability. I am basically an interpreter from the waiting staff to the chefs...plus the basic make salads, get out desserts...you know, that whole thing.
Job aside, today was good otherwise as well. Took the placement test for the community college...did well...of course...tested out of most things, if not all things I CAN test out of. Just going to take a few classes there to transfer elsewhere. NOT a full time student...probably would die working this job and being a full time student as well. Don't want to take many classes right now anyway.
Speaking of colleges, I dreamt about the University of Utah last night for some reason. Ben was there of course, and Zack was too oddly. Except, the dorms were really really cool, they had a great cafeteria, and most of the campus was almost like an amusement park.
I'm leaning more toward Blue Meanie for the name of the blue Focus...however I'm still up for any suggestions, I'm still have to get a few more things for it anyway, almost trying to make it feel homey.
p.s. For those of you familiar with the idea of Nerd Squad, Nerd Squad Computers, or familiar with the artwork for it. Please check out geeksquad.com and tell me what you think.

Beach
I went to Harkers Island on Saturday and got to play in the surf at Cape Lookout (the lighthouse with the black and white checkered paint job...).
Got a little sunburned...not bad at all though. Loved it, I'm gonna have to go again soon.
Listened to Death Cab for Cutie the way there and back, they are very good and I highly suggest them. Actually my cousin is doing sound for them and will be touring with them...which was my original incentive to buy the cd.
Still trying to settle...not being very successful at it. May have a job opportunity downtown with a higher scale restaurant and caterer. Hope that works out, if not...then it's more searching and hoping.

Transportation (background music: none...I have to build a computer)
My new ride is now a Blue 2000 Ford Focus...I am trying to name it at the moment. I should have the car this afternoon and then we have to get some touch-ups on it and it'll be good...much better than the expected Taurus or Sable...kind of a middle road as far as the car goes, which is probably as good as it gets...and for the best.
My current idea for the name is "Blue Midget" anyone who is a fan of Red Dwarf will understand that...however, if you have any other ides for his/her/it's name...leave a comment.

SOAL End Well we did the "SOAL" last night...it turned out a lot worse than I expected. Ben didn't show up and Adam couldn't come so we lost some of our best gamers. The people that were there during various parts of the night were: Myself, Justin, Jason, other Jason (Justin's brother), Mike Lopez, Cari, and Jill. We never got in touch with Andy or Josh, supposively Allyssa was going to grab Andy and at least drop by, but I guess it slipped her mind. Since Ben did not attend we didn't have a digital still camera lying around so unfortunately there are no pictures :(.
Cari, Jason, and I have decided to do a Lego Party (if it sounds odd or childish...trust me on this) on Tuesday night.
Leaving in three days...getting very nervous.

SF Site on Mac If any of you are using a mac and tried to see the Pride Parade or Museum pictures then...well...you probably didn't see them. It seems windows understands the folder assosiation on the server and treats \ and / the same; however, mac does not. I corrected this problem just now. So, if you are using a mac and want to see those pictures, please return to The San Francisco Page and check it out...sorry for the inconvenience.
p.s. Thanks to Steffan to pointing it out, if he hadn't have left that comment I would have had no idea what the problem was for Mac users.
p.p.s. Unfortunately Adam is not going to make it to MOAL2, a.k.a. SOAL [Son of all LAN Parties]. We will miss your presence Adam, and I wish I could see you before I head off to NC.
p.p.p.s. For those of you that don't know WHEN I'm leaving for NC...it's Wednesday, July 14th, 5 days from today.

LAN Party Looks like we are going to be doing a LAN party at Justin's house this Saturday so I can see a few people before I leave for North Carolina. So far it's probably going to be me, Justin, Jason, Adam, and Ben...if anyone would like to drop by just let us know.
We are also organizing the "Bring Adam Home" fund. We are going to pick up Adam and bring him back to Moab for the LAN party, if anyone can chip in for gas money it would be much appreciated. If you really want to see Adam, this is one way you can help.
A partial list of the games we will play will hopefully include:
Battlefield 1942/Desert Combat/Vietnam Age of Mythology/Titans Expansion Warcraft III Unreal Tournament Game of the Year Edition/2003/2004 Quake III Emperor: Battle for Dune Empire Earth

San Francisco Page
I worked most of the day today on getting this done...and amazingly...it is! So enjoy my new San Francisco Page. The only thing missing is some pictures of myself and my family...I'll probably get those up tomorrow sometime, maybe later.
p.s. It's been a little over a year since building my compter, "Holly."

Back Home...but not for long I got back from San Francisco yesterday. Great trip, love that city. I'm making a page with pictures and such and that's where I will tell what I did on my trip. I'll get that up tomorrow or the next day. It was great to see my sister and her husband. It's both good and bad to be back in Moab...I'll only be here for another 12 days though. Then it's off to NC. I'm glad I bought my plane ticket when I did, because otherwise I might be chickening out at this time. Saw three movies in the theater lately...I'll write some reviews very soon for them: Fahrenheit 9/11, Control Room, and SpiderMan 2.
