Phase One: Steal Underpants Since I have become single recently, my mind has been going through certain phases I recognize all to well. First is the initial panic of course, but then the "oh yeah, I'm single" phase takes over. In this phase I realize the possibilities in the life of a single man; I want to hang out with any girl that I am attracted to physically. After this phase there are two options: First, the "oh yeah...I'm single," a depressing phase which happens when I try to hang out with those girls I'm attracted to and absolutely nothing happens, after this phase life seems to go downhill but stay intact nonetheless. Second, the "hell yeah...I'm single!" phase which happens only when something does happen physically between me and those certain girls I'm attracted to. There are several side effects of some of these phases though, including stress, guilt, upset stomach, headache, and extreme diarrhea. Wait...strike out that last one.

Getting Away In the past few days I've noticed a couple things, for one: ALL my close friends are, or were, gone for the first part of the summer...away from Moab. Ben went to Chicago, Adam went to work with his dad in American Fork, Jill went to Ireland, which I am very jealous of, and Kassi is now in Orem for the rest of the summer. Secondly I've noticed that I need to get the fuck away from this town, even if only for a short while. I have had vacation plans for the past two years (mostly ideas of going to North Carolina for Christmas, or spring break, or part of the summer, however none have happened). I am severely hoping that my father goes to San Francisco in the next two months so I can get away and see my birthplace while I'm at it. I want to get as far away from Moab as possible in the near future, hopefully that dream can come true, I'll get a good job during college, save up and go to Japan for a few years or something (god that would be great). If anyone is taking a decent trip out of town and would like some company let me know, I need to get away and just have some fun. I'm feeling the same type of desperation as I did toward the end of last summer. I'm just tired of being stuck in this hell hole.
Update, maybe a plan or next summer. Save up and go to Europe with Jill for a while next summer, base it in Belgium and see my family. Hopefully I'll get my European ID card at some point in the near future. Maybe I'll just move there after a while, tired of being an American.

What's big, green, and wants Jennifer Connely? I went to see The Hulk yesturday and it was one very entertaining movie. I'd say 4 out of 5 stars. The storyline and cg graphics were great. Although the first hour of the movie seems like an introduction it all adds up to an amazing climax. This movie gives the feel that it is about to end and you will have to wait for a sequel but gives you the satisfaction of a complete ending (although the sequel idea definately is not closed). The only downside to this movie is it felt like the editing in transitions, dissolves, and cuts where only experimental. Watching the movie I felt like a kid thinking...ooh...let's try this effect, or I want 4 views of a scene in one shot. I fully recommend seeing this movie at least once for a good story, amazing looking graphics, and of course (if you live in Moab) a familiar surrounding ;).Labels: Movies/Video Games/Entertainment

Brand New Computer I just finished my new computer in the past couple days, I love it...it's beautiful. I don't really know if anyone cares, but I'm going to put the specs for it on here anyway:

 Woops, moved the camera
 There we go
Chieftec Silver Dragon case with a 500w power supply Abit NF7-S Motherboard AMD Athlon XP 2600+ processor Vantec Aeroflow cpu cooler 512MB of Corsair PC3200 RAM MSI GeForce4 TI48000SE 128MB Graphics card with VIVO Maxtor 120GB 7200rpm HDD with 8MB cache MSI 52x24x52x CDRW
That along with 7 red LED fans to light up the inside of the case makes one nice machine, soon I'm going to add another 120 gig hard drive, another 512mb of ram, a dvd drive and more more lighting. I will not be content until my computer blinds someone when they look inside. This system cost me about $800 + labor, and for a comparison: A brand new Alienware Grey system with a 2600+, 512mb of ram, an 80 gig hard drive, a cd burner, and a graphics card that performs worse than the 4800 I have in mine is $1500 AND they get the parts wholesale. If anybody wants a new comp, let me know...lol ;)
